We’re going on a cruise! Not just any cruise…but a cruise to celebrate the big 4-0. That’s right – I’ll be turning 40 at sea this year, and that’s pretty cool.

We’ve been on several cruises, two of them with the kids. But the last time we cruised, the kids were three-years-old and fifteen months…and while Jack has vague memories of our trip (he remembers throwing up one night after Aunt Polly let him drink a ginormous glass of chocolate milk and then wash it down with ice cream), he doesn’t remember most of it.

Cruise Countdown PrintableIn fact, the kids were so young on the last cruises that this is like a brand new experience. And every day they ask me, how many days until the cruise?

I’ve been looking it up on my phone (just google, “how many days until” and you’ll get a countdown app). But this is a pain. I want them to be able to track it themselves. So, I made them this cruise countdown printable paper chain.

I’m proud to be partnering with Carnival for this cruise. I’ll be blogging all about our adventure when we return (we’re leaving in December). But I couldn’t wait until I got back to start blogging about the trip, which is where this cruise countdown printable comes in! #cruisingcarnival

Don’t forget to pin it for later!

Cruise Countdown Printable Paper ChainI printed my cruise countdown on card stock (my favorite card stock is the Reflections brand they sell at Michaels, and it’s only a few dollars…but you can also find card stock on Amazon or at your local craft store or office supply store).

You can write in the numbers, and ours is going to start at 30…but you could print as many pages as you want and countdown as many days as you’d like!

Part of the fun is making this – I used an adhesive roller to keep the rings together. You could also use tape. Glue would work, but will take longer to dry.

We’re just a couple weeks out from our official cruise countdown launch. I can’t wait to share everything with you guys!
