What is Enchanted Fairies? I’m Telling You All About it…and How they Help Kidd’s Kids!

What is Enchanted Fairies, you ask (as I did!)? I had the chance to attend a hosted Enchanted Fairies photo shoot for two very special Kidd’s Kids. This is something that has been on my radar for awhile now, but until a few days ago I wasn’t entirely sure how it all worked. I’m excited to share with you how you can participate – and why you’ll definitely want to!

The Enchanted Fairies ads have been popping up in my Facebook feed for a couple years now, and they’ve had me intrigued. It’s something I wanted to do with Claire for awhile, especially since I knew they donated to Kidd’s Kids (a local Dallas organization that provides trips to Disney World for families with kids that have life-altering conditions).

You can learn more about Kidd’s Kids here.

So, what is Enchanted Fairies?

If you’re local, you may have seen the ads too…stunning and vibrant photos of little kids dressed up as fairies (or warriors!) in magical settings. The photos are a real scroll-stopper and I have been to the website more than once!

Although I knew they were associated with Kidd’s Kids, I had no idea the impact Enchanted Fairies has made on the organization. Over the last few years, Enchanted Fairies has donated over $600,000 to Kidd’s Kids, directly impacting the lives of many Dallas families.

Enchanted Fairies

Last week, we got to visit Enchanted Fairies at the Shops at Willow Bend mall in Plano, TX. While we were there, two kids who had just returned from a Kidd’s Kids Walt Disney World trip were having their own magical Enchanted Fairies experience.

We had the pleasure of meeting local kids Avery and Mason (and Mason’s precious little sister, Mya). The kids had just returned from a Kidd’s Kids trip and Mason was full of stories about all the fun rides he went on, the food he ate, and all the walking he did!

They. Were. Precious.

The kids got the full glam treatment (well, Avery and Mason’s little sister did, anyway…Mason opted out of the glitter!). The makeup session includes curled hair, pretty makeup, and of course, glitter. The girls, wearing their chosen outfits (they both picked green!), loved getting pampered.

Enchanted Fairies donates 100% of proceeds from every session fee and 100% of the profits from their annual calendar to Kidd’s Kids.

Anyone can book a session at Enchanted Fairies for just $25 (per kid) – and that comes with an 8×10 photo to keep.

  • Magical fairy dust
  • Accessories

You can see some before and afters here (mine are the befores…and the afters are the final product from the Enchanted Fairies studio!).

I mean, really now…aren’t they incredible?!

I’m taking Claire this coming weekend for her own mermaid session. Since this will be our first time, I’ll be sure to come back with a blog post before the new year sharing all about it – what to expect, and all that.

You can book a session at Enchanted Fairies here. You can also call them if you have any questions – they’re so nice and helpful!
