I have always loved getting gift cards. When I was a teenager, my dad would go to the Wherehouse and get us all gift cards for the exact amount of a CD with tax ($17.49 or something super random like that). We always made fun of him for that (and still do!), but it really was the perfect gift…who doesn’t love permission to go buy something for themself, right?!
And that’s kind of how I feel about gift cards now, too. They’re great to get and they’re great to give. It’s a nice way to give someone exactly what they want, but still feel like you’re putting some thought into it, you know what I mean?
Printable Christmas Gift Card Envelopes
So here’s what I like about Happy Cards. Each card is themed – Happy Her, Happy Dining, Happy Kid, Happy Guy, etc. You can pick out a card that feels customized to your giftee. Each card can be used at several relevant locations.
For example, the Happy Her card that I am giving away can be used at Godiva, Peets Coffee, ULTA, Express, P.F. Chang’s, and Under Armour. So if it were me receiving this card, I’d probably treat myself to a few hours of shopping and then some lunch and coffee, too.
And they’re all like that! Each card has several retailers you can use them at (online or in person).
You can buy a card in the amount of $25-500, and you can pick them up at your local Kroger, Target, or Tom Thumb (just to name a few retailers)…or order online!

Here’s how to gift a gift card and make it special!
You can make a gift card special by sticking it in one of these adorable printable Christmas gift card envelopes that you can print at home and put together in just a couple of minutes.
I used cardstock to print on, and then used a pen to make the crease on the folded edges nice and sharp. I closed them with some colorful washi tape (stickers would be cute, too!). If you need help getting bright, vibrant colors, you can check out this post about how to print beautiful printables.
