Do you look at outfits that include blanket scarfs and think, “Oh man, I love that but how does she get it to look like that?” All women who love to shop have thought this, you are not alone! Plaid blanket scarves have been a staple piece for a while now. However, they are not the easiest accessory to wear correctly.
How to wear a blanket scarf
Blanket scarfs come in all different lengths and patterns. I have lots of them and love to wear them this time of year. They are not meant to be over powering or intimidating, so I have put together a 5 step by step EASY tutorial to ensure you wear your blanket scarf correctly!
STEP 2
Fold in 1/2
STEP 3
Take the corners together
Fold into triangle shape (or 2)
STEP 4
Take ends and wrap around your neck
STEP 5
Fluff it up & you’re done!
EASY, right?!
Some styling inspiration for you and you new favorite accessory…
Pair your plaid blanket scarf with a denim shirt and some colored denim (black or burgundy) any color denim is fine. This look would be great for a casual date!
Style your scarf with a striped shirt and your favorite jeans and head on out to run those errands or meet up for lunch with your girlfriends.
Pair your scarf with a solid color shift dress (like this one.) This look would be great for a night out or for a casual Valentine’s day look! Valentine’s day is less than a month away so start planning your outfit!

Hello Carrie, I completely agree with you. Blanket scarves are very helpful in winter season and also fashionable. It protects us as well as great looking. Blanket scarves are necessary thing in the cold seasons.

I've had my blanket scarf for a bit over a year now and love it, I wear it pretty much every cold day but I've just been wrapping it round and hoping for the best. I'm going to try this folding technique when I pop out in a bit- thanks!
