Printable Grade Book for Teachers

Where are my teachers out there? I am so grateful for y’all. After homeschooling for one semester, I mean that deeply. You are following a calling and I am so grateful for you. I hope that you will find a way to use this printable grade book in your classroom (at school or at home). If you’re not a teacher, I would love it if you could pass this along to a teacher you know so they can use it!

There are so many ways to use this printable grade book!

I had my mom, a retired teacher, help me really understand how teachers use their grade books. She told me that she would use hers for grades, but also for checklists, like keeping track of who had turned in permission slips for an upcoming field trip. So, I think there are a lot of ways you could use this. You probably know better than I do.

It’s also got a piece of dot grid graph paper, which my mom said is handy for designing a classroom or seating charts.

How to print your grade book

First you’ll want to download the file (which you can do by clicking the big black and white “download” button towards the bottom of this page. If you have trouble, you can email me and I will send you the files.

Print out as many of the pages as you want. As you’ll see, there is a “left” page and a “right” page, with room to punch holes on the paper. You can use these in a 3-ring binder or with a BIG Happy Planner.

Here are some of the tools I use regularly when making my own 8.5″x11″ planners and binders at home:

  • Paper (I actually have this paper on subscription from Amazon – I get a couple reams sent to me automatically every two months, it is beautiful for planners)
  • 3-hole punch (I splurged and have a more expensive one that is easier to punch holes with, but if you’re only using it here and there this will do the trick)
  • Binder (this is the cutest one I could find AND it matches this planner, but it doesn’t have a clear window to use the cover with – you can find one at Walmart for around $3)
  • Dividers (again, you can find some cheap ones at Walmart…but these are super cute)

And because you read the whole post (or at least scanned to the bottom, lol) and because you are a teacher – if you want my printable Lesson Planner for free (you can see it here), just email me and I’ll send it to you! Just tell me you saw this offer in the Grade Book post. 🙂
