My house is a hodge podge of random Christmas decorations we’ve collected over the years. It’s easy to get caught up in Christmas Decoration Envy this time of year (hellllo, Pinterest and gorgeous home bloggers!). But I keep coming back to the easier (and cheaper, and less work-intensive) decorating style inside me – the one that’s okay with random, mis-matched decorations everywhere.
However! Over the years, I’ve made a bunch of really cute and colorful Christmas trees that I like to display on my mantel (like this Darth Vader tree, these m&m trees, and these colorful pom pom trees). My collection normally takes center stage on the mantel, but as it’s grown, it no longer fits. So this year, I decided I would at the very least, make my mantel a pretty, cohesive spot of Christmas gloriousness.
I went with a gold theme (mostly, because of the Darth Vader tree). And I knew I wanted this O Come All Ye Faithful printable included, too. I had the perfect gold fram sitting around, waiting for a pretty piece of art or the perfect photo. This was it!
O Come All Ye Faithful Printable
This Christmas printable is designed pint at 8″x10″. You could easily scale it down. It would look cute on the front of a Christmas card, too! Or, print it full size and frame it – or stick it on a clipboad. There are so many clever ways to put it to use for you!
You can see my finished mantel below. I worked with stuff I already had – the only new addition is this print, which is in a frame I grabbed for $.10 (no really…ten cents, y’all!) at a local thrift store. I often get asked about the rocking horse. My grandfather made a bunch of them for his grandkids when I was very young…this is probably from 1979/1980! Having it in my home today brings me so much joy.
You can download your own O Come All Ye Faithful printable below. I hope it brightens up your day!
