We love everything about Halloween around here! Halloween feels like the official gateway to the holiday season, and I’m ready to start decorating and celebrating as soon as it cools off. This Halloween countdown printable is a super fun way to get excited and count down the days to Halloween with the kids.
Printable Halloween Countdown
You can start using this countdown any time (is the day after Halloween too soon??). We’ll probably break it out towards the end of September. This is actually a great lesson for young kids as it can help them understand the concept of numbers and days.
How to use this Halloween countdown printable
This printable was designed to be printed on 8.5×11 paper and cut down to fit an 8×10 frame. You could also leave it 8.5×11 and laminate it! You’ll want to frame or laminate it so you can write on it with a dry erase marker. Every day, simply erase the number and rewrite it with the correct number of days until Halloween. Kids love doing this.
This activity is a great way to start off the day with young ones, but truth be told this adult gets pretty excited about filling it out, too!
