Happy Halloween, everyone! Close enough to Halloween anyway, right? I originally posted these cute printable Halloween pillow boxes over on EasyCrafts101, but I thought I’d share them here too in hopes they can get some use! I am kind of obsessed with all thinks pink and orange for Halloween – I love the colors together, and what’s not to love about all the treats you can stuff inside these cute boxes?

Free Printable Halloween Pillow Boxes for Treats

These printable treat boxes are 4″ long and 2.5″ wide when complete. They’re perfect for holding a handful of candy corn or mini chocolate bars. But they are also a cute way to deliver any trinkets that need delivering. These are fun for class parties, passing out to trick-or-treaters, or surprising the kids (and grown-ups) in your life.

How to make these cute Halloween treat boxes

These are super easy to make. All you need is a printer, some card stock paper, scissors, and some strong craft glue or tape. You’ll also need whatever treats you are going to fill these with, of course! {candy corn, chocolate, gift cards, stickers…the sky is the limit}

Here are some recommendations for supplies:

  • Cardstock
  • Glue Gun (if you don’t have a glue gun, get one – it will change your crafting life!)

Download (download here or at the bottom of this page by clicking the black and white “download” button) this file. Print out the pillow boxes on card stock. If you use regular paper, they won’t be strong enough to hold any treats. With card stock, these are super sturdy.

Cut out the pillow boxes. Fold lengthwise along the dotted line, and then fold over the tab along the dotted line. If you want to get fancy, you can use an exacto knife to lightly score the curved, dotted lines that you’ll be folding over to close the box. However, I did not use that method when I made these.

The only place you’ll need to use glue or tape is along the tab that runs lengthwise. I used hot glue because I had my glue gun out, but any strong craft glue will work. Glue (or tape) the tab to the inside of the flap. It will look kind of like an envelope with two open ends. If you’re using tape it needs to be sturdy.

Next you’ll fold over the ends. I start in the middle and then kind off crease it on the way out to the corners. You’ll see what I mean when you do it. You don’t need to secure them, they will stay shut. If you want to, though, you can use a dab of glue to secure one side.
