Claire and I visited the Perot Museum last week. We learned about the new exhibits and everything you need to know to host a birthday party at the Perot Museum. Read on for more info AND a chance to win four tickets to the museum!
It’s March, you guys! MARCH! And that means (aside from all the rain, and ice, and cold weather) that the Perot Museum of Nature and Science is full of fun new springtime activities that I know you won’t want to miss! Last week, Claire and I braved a blustery day (SNOW!) to check out the fun new activities taking place at the museum.

Did you know that the author of Sherlock Holmes, Arthur Conan Doyle, was a chemistry and forensics expert who pioneered the way for modern-day forensics? You’ll learn about this and SO MUCH MORE at the Sherlock Holmes exhibit.

Here’s the short version of Everything You Need to Host a Birthday Party at the Perot Museum:
- Free invitations are available online
- Catering and goody bags are available, or you can bring your own food and goody bags!
- There are 8 different party themes available
- Parties are an hour-and-a-half long, but guests have access to the museum for the entire day (how great is that?!)
- Parties can accomodate 30-40 guests
- Cost is between $260-375 (discounts available if you’re a member)
You can get all the details on hosting a birthday party at the Perot Museum here.
You can find hours, directions, and ticket information here.
Through March 6th, you can get 15% off your annual membership when you call and tell them you saw the 15% off discount on my blog! Just tell them you were referred by Carrie Elle! Find out more about membership here.
And now for the fun part! I have four tickets to giveaway. These tickets expire May 10th, 2015 and are not valid March 7-15. To enter, just leave a comment below telling me why you want to visit the museum. I’ll choose a winner on Wednesday, March 12th.
Find me on Facebook for easy recipes, free printables, super simple kid-friendly crafts, and things to do in Dallas. I’d love to have you join me over there!

My hubby and I love watching that Elementary show that is a spin-off of Sherlock Holmes. When I told him there was a Sherlock Holmes exhibit at the Perot, he was so excited! We'd love to check it out.

What's better than an interactive art experience and educational opportunity all in one.

We'd like to go because our last visit ended early due to one sick toddler and one toddler who tried to run back to see the dinos when it was lunch time. They runner is still talking about it.

Our family has never been to the Perot Museum but I'd love to take them. We have two young boys that would be fascinated with the dinosaurs!
