Thanksgiving is ALMOST here, and I totally had Thanksgiving in mind when I made these free printable recipe cards. But really? They’re great for any time of year (although they do kind of have a cute fall vibe to them, don’t they?).

Most of the recipe cards out there are formatted a little differently, with a couple of lines at the top for the ingredients and then a bunch of lines for the recipe. I find this kind of confusing to work with. I was trying to make something recently using a recipe I have in my own recipe box (slim pickin’ in there, folks), and it was kind of a pain to keep up with the ingredients. I thought it would be simpler to see them listed out in this format, and so that is what I did.
You can print out your own copy of the recipe cards here.
I printed these on card stock. You can pick some up at Michaels or Walmart (or any office store) – or you can buy some here.
When I got married, I had a bridal shower. Everyone brought me a recipe card all filled out with their favorite recipes (such a treat as I was looking through these the other day and recognized my grandmother’s familiar handwriting that I hadn’t seen in years!). I think this is an adorable idea – and I also think it would make a fun housewarming gift, too.
Or, you could just print out a ton and use them for yourself.
