Guys. Guyyyyys. I love this applesauce recipe so much. As I write this, it’s one million degrees in the middle of July. But something about the smell of homemade applesauce always reminds me of fall, and this Instant Pot Peach Applesauce is no exception. I can almost pretend the weather is decent when I eat it! Also – I’ve included directions for making it in the Instant Pot and the Crock Pot. Both options are great!
Instant Pot Peach Applesauce {21 Day Fix, Ultimate Portion Fix, Weight Watchers}
This recipe is something I’ve been making for awhile, but when I put together a collection of 21 Day Fix Peach Recipes, I realized that we are sorely lacking peach recipes! So I finally got around to making this “blog official” just so we’ll have another peachy option to choose from.
A few quick notes to get us started…
This is based off my Instant Pot Applesauce recipe, which is my go-to IP applesauce. It’s super easy to make and I don’t use any processed sugar. The only sweetener I use is honey, and I’ve actually made it without honey before, too – and it still turned out amazing. So if you want to leave it out, go ahead. It will still be good!
This recipe is perfect for the 21 Day Fix, Ultimate Portion Fix (any Beachbody container counting program, actually) and Weight Watchers.
The applesauce is only 1 point for Weight Watchers…if you leave the honey out, it becomes 0 (HOLLA!). So you can decide how important the honey is – maybe try it once each way and see what you prefer.
You will need to set aside some prep time. I feel like an expert now and I can peel and cut a dozen apples in no time, but if this is your first time making it, just know that there is definitely a little work on the front end! It is totally worth the effort. {side note: I feed my horse the apple scraps, but if you don’t have a horse you could turn them into juice or compost them}
Instant Pot Peach Applesauce is a freezer-friendly recipe – make a bunch and freeze it for later!
And one more thing – you’ll find this recipe to be forgiving and a good option if you’re new to the Instant Pot. You can give or take on the apples and peaches count and it will still turn out fantastic.

Instant Pot Peach Applesauce (21 Day Fix, Ultimate Portion Fix, Weight Watchers)
Equipment
- Pressure Cooker
- Vegetable Peeler
Ingredients
- 8-9 apples peeled and cored, any kind
- 4 peaches sliced, any kind
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
- 1/2 c water
Instructions
- Peel and core your apples. Slice your peaches. You can leave the skin on the peaches or remove it.
- Dump all the slices into you Instant Pot or Crock Pot. Add the lemon, honey, water, and pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon.
Instant Pot
- Instant Pot - READ THIS BEFORE YOU MAKE IT: This recipe was made using a 6qt Instant Pot. If your pot is larger, you'll need to adjust accordingly. Altitude might also affect cook time.
- Place the lid on the Instant Pot. Close and make sure it's in the lock position, and that your valve is set to "seal." Set the pot to "Pressure Cook" (or manual) for 8 minutes. Once done, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes, then quick release.
- Turn off Instant Pot. Let applesauce cool awhile. Mash up applesauce (you can do it by hand with a fork or mashing tool, or use an immersion blender if you want it chunk-free). Cover and let it sit out until it's room temperature, and then put in fridge to chill. You can also blend for a more consistent texture (I like it chunky though!).
- You'll want to eat it when it's warm because it will smell so good, but if you can wait until it's chilled you will be rewarded. It's just so darn delicious.
Crock Pot
- Dump all ingredients into slow cooker. Cook on low heat for 6 hours. Mash up applesauce. Once cooled, put in fridge to chill.
