When I was committed to Weight Watchers, my biggest complaint (besides the restriction on how much food I was allowed to eat, waaaaah) was how cumbersome their website and app felt. I didn’t like using them to track my points. I missed the little journals they used to pass out in the old days (like 2006). Hard as I tried, I could not find exactly what I wanted for keeping track of my food intake.

Carrie Elle Food JournalAnd then I quit Weight Watchers (I know, lame!) and switched to counting calories. They have apps for that, too…but I really prefer writing things down. 

So, I made a food journal so I could use it for Weight Watchers *or* counting calories. I tried to make it generic enough that people following different diets would be able to use it, but structured enough that it was clearly a food journal – and something that would help people stay on track!

These are small enough to fit in your purse. They are 5×7 and laminated (I use a 5mil laminate…if you’re familiar with my Meal Planners, this laminate is not quite as heavy…but still sturdy!). Right now I have three cover options (below): Happy (pink and blue), Hot Ziggity! (rainbow chevron), and Anchors Away!

Food JournalsThe insides of the planners are simple enough that I hope you can make it work for your current eating habits and diet plans, but cute enough that I hope you’ll be inspired to use it every day!

Each book has two pages for tracking your weight, with a total of 24 lines for weigh-ins. There are 90 daily food tracking pages, so this should last you for 3 months (or waaaaay longer if you “forget” to record your bad eating days, like I do…ha).

I want a food journal I like the anchor one. That is so cool. I miss having a food journal from weight watchers also. I am now following you on fb and I follow your blog. Let me know when I can order it.
