Summer comes and you’d think things would be easier – that somehow with everyone home all day, things might slow down a little bit. Or something.
Instead, I’m scrambling to get things done with the kids by my side – and that goes for planning sessions. This afternoon, we sat at the table and scratched out a meal plan for the week, and I tried to use this extra family time to get some input from the kids about what kind of foods they’d like to see on the weekly menu.
Turns out, they would happily subsist on tacos and pancakes everysinglenightforever. Sorry kids!
But breakfast for dinner one night and tacos another? Most certainly!
Monday – Spinach salads for the adults; Mac & Cheese and fresh fruit for the kids
Tuesday – Taco Tuesday!
Wednesday – Breakfast for Dinner
Thursday – Pasta, steamed veggies and whole wheat bread
Friday – Eat Out
Saturday – Grill hamburgers, corn on the cob, side salads
Sunday – Leftovers
