It’s happening: the farmer’s markets are beginning to change colors and I love it! Despite the end-of-summer heat wave that’s keeping everyone inside grumbling, fall is showing signs that it’s on it’s way! This weekly meal plan is just a teaser of all the fall foods to come – soups, root vegetables, and savory casseroles that warm the home and the heart. Who doesn’t love snuggling up in sweat pants and filling up on their favorite soup? I consider it to be a *highly* cherished happy place.
So ::dramatic sigh:: until the heat wave subsides, I will spend my time inside, daydreaming of all the tasty food I will get to cook and enjoy this fall…
