It is officially summer at my house, which means lots of friends, birthdays, and BBQs – the time when my patio is filled with the most love and laughter of the year! The season is full of last minute get-togethers after leaving parties and pools, and wanting to soak in every last minute of sun with some of my favorite people. I am typically the host-by-default, which means I am constantly looking for light and tasty summer dinners that I can whip up for my guests without too much prep, and this week’s weekly meal plan includes some of my absolute favorites – especially because there is a lot of grilling, and that’s my husband’s department 🙂 I like to stock up on my favorite summer berries and veggies at the local farmer’s market so that my food is truly seasonal and because it just tastes SO. MUCH. BETTER! Plus, you can always add fresh strawberries, tomatoes, or squash to any recipe because they are so versatile..and delicious! Mmmmm……summer is HERE!!
