I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Panasonic. I received product samples as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Sometime in the past year or so, Jack started asking questions about the Alamo. He’s so interested in Texas history – he loves asking questions and learning about where he comes from! So a few months ago, I promised we’d go visit the Alamo.
And last week, we did!
And not only did we visit the Alamo, but we also visited the Riverwalk, the State Capitol and Barton Springs. We did a 24-hour tour of central Texas to remember. And both kids are now enamored with San Antonio and Austin.
Light, small, and perfect for photographing kids, the Panasonic Lumix G7 has been getting tons of use lately. And it is gettin’ thangs done, y’all.
The Lumix G7 is photography in a way that most of us have never seen. With a touch-enabled monitor, the Panasonic Lumix G7 takes 4K ultra HD video at up to 30 frames per second. You can extract any of those frames in an 8-megapixel still image that you can upload directly to your phone to share on social media.
The camera has three 4K Ultra HD Video pause and extract modes. The pictures you all see here were extracted from short videos (mostly shot in the camera’s 4K Pre-Burst mode, which takes 3 seconds of video that you can scroll through to find your perfect photos). This makes it so easy (and fun!) to get that *perfect* moment or expression!
The Lumix G7 also comes with super fast focus and tracking, so you those perfect moments won’t be blurry.
It’s also a little bit addicting and super fun to see what moments you can capture! And the crazy part? I took all of these photos in the automatic settings. Seriously. These were all taken on auto (I edited them all later to get the feel I wanted, but these were all taken in auto – no camera knowledge required for clear, crisp, shots that really pop).
It was so, so hot. SO HOT. San Antonio in August (hence all the pink cheeks in these photos!). But when you live in Texas, you can’t let the heat stop you (or you’ll basically never do anything or go anywhere from from May – October).
You can read my previous post about the Panasonic Lumix G7, and see how amazing it is when capturing action shots at the pool, here. And stay tuned for more – next month I’ll be sharing more!
