When I think of the little things that bring me joy (and there are many little things that I love), tea and sitting down with my planner are at the top of the list. There’s just something about a nice cup of tea and a fresh piece of paper that makes my heart sing. I created this printable hourly day planner to help me (and you!) create a beautiful and intentional day around all of the things we have to do every day.

Printable Hourly Day Planner

Lately, I’ve been focusing on living a life more intentional. There will always be days that I scramble through…days that don’t go as planned, days that I didn’t get around to planning at all, and days that I leave intentionally open (because as much as I love to plan…there are also times when I love to NOT plan, you know what I mean?). I’m trying (trying SO hard, you guys) to be intentional about my time, and spend my days doing the important things.

I want to make my days count. And to make things count, I need to do the important things.

How do I get my printables to print so pretty?

If you’re struggling with printer issues or having a hard time getting your printables to print as pretty as you’d like, start here. That post is all about how to get gorgeous, pro-quality prints at home.

Printable Day PlannerHow do I use an hourly planner?

So, here’s what I’m working on doing to help me live more intentionally (I know, that word is everywhere these days…but when you only have so many hours in the day and about a trillion things to do – as we all do! – it’s a really important word).

I try to plan my day before my day even starts. This means super early, before I do anything…or even better, right before I go to bed. This lets me look at my schedule for the next day, prioritize, and decide what’s most important…and then pencil it all in. There is something therapeutic to me about writing things down. Also, I am trying to spend less time on my phone and schedule time for myself to manage all my social media – so this scheduling time is free of digital distractions, and all about me and the day I want to live.

Printable Day PlannerI’m also really (embarassingly so!) bad at scheduling appointments, calling people back, and responding to texts. That is something I need to work on, but it’s so easy for me to look at a text and then forget I ever received it…I need a way to make sure I’m staying on top of things like texts and voicemails.

So, I created a printable day planner to help me map out my day. It’s split into hours, and honestly? I’m not sure if that will work for me. The perfectionist in me, which is apparently dormant for 90% of my day, rears its ugly head when I set expectations for myself and then don’t stay exactly.on.track. But I’m giving it the old college try, and hoping that by scheduling some general hours for myself, I can spend that time more intentionally.

So glad I found your blog. I’m just getting into paper planning and you have some awesome ideas and printables! They are so pretty and seem easy to follow. The paper planning can be overwhelming so I appreciate that you have made it easier, but still beautiful! Thanks for sharing them! I’m excited to start this new chapter and you are now in my favorites!
