I think the hardest part of working out is the part where you actually get started. Not the beginning of the workout, but the part leading up to the beginning of the workout. The part where you convince yourself, with hundreds of compelling arguments, that you just don’t have time to workout today but you still manage to press play and get that workout in.
When I was doing the 21 Day Fix workouts every day, that was where I struggled. I struggled with getting started. Today, I’m working out at the gym, and I still struggle with the same idea…once I get to the gym, I’m golden. It’s overcoming all the obstacles (in my day and in my head) that try to keep me away.
This “Press Play” printable is something I created for you to help inspire you to get your workout in every day. Frame it and set it next to your workout equipment. Hang it on the fridge. Shrink it down and print a copy for your wallet or to stick on your computer screen. Whatever it takes to remind you to just press play.
