I’ve partnered with Nectar sleep – they’ve given me a beautiful new mattress for Claire’s room, and they’re giving one away to a reader (I KNOW…so cool).
This mattress, guys. It’s. So. Awesome.
The Nectar Mattress showed up at our doorstep in a bag. It comes with a handy tool to cut through the sturdy plastic. This was actually incredibly helpful…much easier than trying to open it with scissors, which I’ve had to do with another mattress brand in the past.
It also came with two pillows (which were a fun surprise when we unrolled the mattress, as they were pressed into the center of the roll!).
Within just a couple of minutes, the mattress pops up to its full thickness.
You guys..it’s incredibly comfy. Charles has actually been sleeping on it the last few days, and he says it’s his favorite mattress. He has a lot of neck problems in the morning, but since he’s been sleeping on this mattress, he hasn’t woken up in pain once. I don’t know if it’s because of the mattress or the pillows, but whatever it is, we’ll take it.
Here are some technical details about this mattress:
The mattress is made with five layers that offer cooling technology, comfort and support. Each mattress is CertiPUR-US® Certified (made without ozone depleters, PBDEs, TDCPP, mercury, and lead).
- The quilted gel memory foam layer contours perfectly to one’s body while providing loft and increased air circulation.
- The third layer of gel memory foam distributes weight evenly, relieving pressure and pain
- The fourth adaptive hi-core memory foam layer supports the body with rebound and bounce (I wouldn’t call this a bouncy mattress, though)
- The final breathing base layer reinforces the contouring and support layers, giving a stable and breathable foundation.
This mattress also comes with a 365 night trial, and is surpisingly affordable (between $500-900, depending on the size you’re looking for).
And now I get to give one away, woohoo!
