Happy Sunday! Before we get to the weekly meal plan, I want to take a few seconds to share a grocery shopping hack with you that can change your life.
Online grocery store shopping.
Have you guys done this? Many grocery stores offer this now – our Walmart AND our Kroger both have this service, which lets you shop online and then pick up your groceries. You don’t even have to get out of the car. If you have kids or a tendency to impulse shop (ME! ME!), this can be a GAME CHANGER.
Imagine not having to take the tired kids into the grocery store. Imagine a grocery store receipt that doesn’t include random snacks, magazines, and candy bars that you tend to grab as you wander the aisles. Imagine getting back an hour of your day!
OK, that’s all I’ve got you about online grocery shopping…just a strong recommendation to try it out if your local grocer offers this service! 🙂
Weekly Meal Plan
Quick notes about the meal plan:
Want to keep it REALLY simple? Pick out the recipes you like and substitute the ones you don’t like with leftovers, eating out, or even a frozen dinner.
You’ll notice that some of these recipes are 21 Day Fix recipes. All that means is they’re made with whole ingredients. Although you’ll notice in the post that they menti0n “container counts,” you’ll go ahead and make these recipes like you would any other. Only pay attention to the container counts if you’re on the 21 Day Fix or a similar container-counting program. You can eat these recipes knowing you’re sticking to whole foods and creating something healthy!
Pesto Zoodles + Grilled Chicken (make extra chicken for tomorrow’s recipe!)
Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs + Side Salad with Southwest Ranch Dressing
Copycat Panera Creamy Tomato Basil Soup + Side Salad (use leftover Southwest Ranch Dressing)
15 Minute Asparagus Revioli + Cheese Toast
Crustless Zucchini Quiche + Fresh Fruit (save leftovers for tomorrow)
