One of the great things about Christmas in the Dallas area is that there is just so much fun stuff to do – there’s no excuse to be bored or miss out on any of the Christmas fun!
This year, I’m taking the family to the Texas Christkindl Market in Arlington, which we’ve never attended before.
This post is sponsored by Texas Christkindl Market.
The Texas Christkindl Market is a FREE event. Located next to Globe Life Park in Arlington, the market is a chance to get some Christmas shopping done and visit tons of local vendors. But it’s also a kid-friendly even with LOTS of fun activities for the kiddos!
At Kinder Market, kids can listen to storytelling, ride the carousel, or even take a pony ride. With a snow playground and snow throw and gingerbread house decorating, the kids won’t be lacking for Christmas-y fun.
Trying to stay on the healthy side this holiday season? Enter the Texas Christkindl Market 5K/10K/15K Volksmarch. I’ll be cheering you on! 😉

And of course, no good market is complete without ALL THE FOOD. Caramel apples, strudel, kettle corn…all of your favorites. You can see a full list of vendors (goods and food!) here.
We’ll be visiting on December 5th. We’re super excited…Jack’s birthday is that week and he wants to go to Six Flags for his birthday. So, we’re going to the Texas Christkindl Market first and then heading next door to Six Flags for their fantastic (and I really mean that – it’s so awesome!) Holiday in the Park celebration.
Texas Christkindl Market is located at Globe Life Park. It’s open November 27 – December 23 (although, today is November 27th and opening day has been postponed due to the weather – so check the website for more info if it’s rainy!).
You can see hours and more info here.
