Star Wars has been popular with kids (and adults) for decades. It’s something that little kids love. There’s action, romance, and great characters. If you or your children love these iconic movies, you definitely need to make Star Wars ornaments for your Christmas tree. The following are some of the best DIY Star Wars ornaments.

DIY Star Wars Ornaments Easy

Yoda Salt Dough Ornaments – These are so fun for kid to make. They also last forever…I have one I made back in 1984…and it’s still going strong!

Star Wars Glitter Ornaments – What would Christmas be without glitter? These ornaments are so easy to make, but you’ll want to watch your kids closely. These ornaments are filled with glitter and liquid floor finish to make the glitter adhere well to the inside of clear ornaments. You then use Mod Podge to stick Star Wars graphics (provided on the site) to the outside. You’ll have awesome ornaments that would cost a pretty penny if you bought them from a store.

Death Star LEGO Ornament – Do you or your kids love LEGO? Then you’re definitely going to love this ornament. This printable PDF gives you the list of parts you’ll need plus all the directions. If you look around on the site, you can find other great LEGO Star Wars ornaments to build.

DIY Star Wars Ornaments DIY Star Wars The Force Awakens Glowing Snow Globe Holiday Ornament – Want something truly unique? This glowing snow globe ornament is so awesome. It uses lights, fake snow, and card stock. The article even provides a link to the printables. However, you could print out any characters you wanted and use them in this snow globe ornament.

DIY Death Star LED Ornament – This is another really cool ornament. With that said, this is more of an ornament for adults as it requires using a drill press. With that said, if you’re willing to put in a bit of work, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind LED Death Star ornament that fellow fans will be envious of.

DIY Star Wars Salt Dough Ornaments – If you’ve got some Star Wars cookie cutters, why not use them to make ornaments? Your kids will love cutting out the “cookies” and then decorating them. If you don’t have Star Wars cookie cutters, print out the shapes, cut them out, and then use a sharp knife to trace around the shapes to cut your dough.

Star Wars is such a fun series. Whether you or your kids love the series, these are such fun ornaments to make and there’s something for everyone of every skill level.
