Little known fact about me: I played the trombone in my middle school band. I was even kind of…good at it. But while my band career was short-lived (after two years of carrying my trombone to and from school every day, I was pretty much over it), I am grateful for it – learning to play an instrument and read music was a really impactful experience. Today I am more likely to be found listening to music than making it, and that’s an experience I can share with my whole family.
The Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s Christmas season is here! These fun concerts are family-friendly and a great way to introduce music to a child. This year, we’re taking our kids to the Dallas Symphony Christmas Pops. It will be a great way to celebrate my birthday (December birthdays FOR THE WIN!) and also get us all in the Christmas spirit!
Here’s what’s coming up this year:
It’s been years since I’ve been to a Dallas Symphony Orchestra. I’m looking forward to getting the full DSO Christmas experience this year!
