A few weeks ago, we had the chance to drive an Audi Q7 for the weekend. Our plan was to take it to Austin on a family road trip. The reality, though, is that my husband got sick, the trip was canceled, and we mostly stayed home all weekend. Boooo.
I did take the car with me for a few errands, though, and I’m going to share a few things I loved about it (and one thing I didn’t, too!).
The car drives like a dream. Truly…so fun to drive, and pretty to look at, too!
The technology is amazing. Turn the car on and a little screen pops up from the dashboard. This made me feel super fancy. Also, the touchpad to control the screen is on the console…I thought this was genius. It’s much less awkward to use than a touchscreen on the dash.
Also, I loved that you can use Google maps. This is huge and one of the things I would change about my current car (I don’t like the navigation system my car comes with).
The technology is also very intuitive, which I appreciate. Because I really don’t care about technology to begin with – and if it’s too complicated to use, I’ll just never use it at all. So, I was a fan of this car’s tech!
On to my one complaint.
THE CUP HOLDERS.
I often drive around with a large cup (I like big cups and I cannot lie, y’all). My cup wouldn’t fit in the cupholder (insert super sad crying face here).
That was my one complaint. But the cup holders are *so* small, it was a big one.
So my overall opinion of the car? It’s fantastic, unless you like to have a big drink with you when you drive. 🙂
