You know what I love?
When I throw something together and it ends up being really, really good and exactly what I needed.
Lately, I’ve been drinking my favorite chocolate protein shake recipe almost every day for lunch. I’ve been tring to branch out a bit though, so I’ve switched up my lunch routine a bit. The thing is, I totally miss my shake. The chocolate, the peanut butter, the banana.
I was out shopping this afternoon, getting hungry (HANGRY, y’all) and started thinking about my shake. I decided to shake it up a little and make something that would satisfy my sweet tooth but NOT require me to clean the blender (because OMG MESSY BLENDER, right?!).
This 21 Day Fix Banana Snack (which of course, is suitable for all eaters, not just those on the Fix!) is the perfect afternoon pick-me-up *and* would make a great substitute for a sugary dessert!
21 Day Fix Banana Snack
(you could halve this recipe if you’re really watching those containers)
- 1 banana
- 2 teaspoons peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons coconut chips
- 2 teaspoons cocoa powder (to taste)
Cut your banana in half, lengthwise. Spread one teaspoon of peanut butter on each half. Sprinkle cocoa powder over the peanut butter, then the coconut chips.
How easy is that?
