I’ve officially got four whole weeks of meal planning under my belt, and I’m feeling pretty awesome about the whole thing.
Let me share with you some of the changes that have occurred as a result of meal planning:
- We’re saving money. As in, several hundred dollars in food expenses over the last month (no spontaneous eating out, no unused veggies in the fridge). THAT is amazing.
- We are less stressed-out. Knowing what we’re having for dinner every night cuts down on the daily chaos.
- We’re spending less time in the kitchen, but somehow eating delicious home-cooked meals every night. Go figure.
- Dinnertime drama is slowly decreasing. We’ve established the rules…the kids get what we feed them and have to at least try the new foods, and there is NO DESSERT, or after-dinner snacking, if they don’t finish their meals. Claire is easy and likes lots of foods, but my picky child is always good for some serious dinner drama (he cried because he was “scared of the eggs” when we had breakfast for dinner last week).
- We’re not wasting food.
So, basically – I am now a huge believer in meal planning.
One of the things I love about meal planning is getting to use the cute meal planning printables I designed (seriously…so fun!). With fall in the air, though, I decided to make a few new fall-inspired meal planning printables to share.
So, here you go…just click on the one you want and you can download and print from there.
If you don’t see something you like, be sure to check out my other meal planning printables, too.
I couldn’t leave this Halloween one out, even though I have several more in the works. It was too fun, and it’s exciting that Halloween will be here soon. I left the dates off of this one as well so you can start it whenever…and because I didn’t include room for a list on this one, it’s actually super cute if you print it as a 5×7 (there’s plenty of room to write out your meals for the week).
You can find my other free meal planning printables here.
Happy Meal Planning!
