Turquoise and Tutus

As soon as Claire started feeling better, she was back to her old ways – namely, bossing us around and wanting to play dress up.  She’s got plenty of words, but she’s won’t always use them…she often communicates by pointing and grunting, and when that doesn’t work, screeching like a banshee.  This particular morning, she informed me – loudly – that she wanted to wear her red tutu.  And my necklace.  Together, and right.this.second.

I obliged, and helped her into the tutu and let her put the necklace on herself.  And the result was so cute, I made her stand still(ish) and took some pictures.

I wish that I had a better picture of her tutu – the picture below isn’t great – but a red tutu?  Had to share it.

  2. Cute! You have a girly girl! so do I. She will, however, take her purse when she goes to dig in the dirt, so I am glad for that- because a gal always needs her purse and she isn’t scared to get dirty.
Where did you get the necklace, I so want it!

    • New York & Company! It looks funny on me, though…it slides around and just feels awkward. Claire wears it better than I do!
