If you’ve ever been to my blog before, you may be noticing something a little different today.
As in, a complete blog makeover.
Hi! It’s me, waving at you, from my new “home” on the Internet.
I made the switch to WordPress and went for an entirely new look. I feel more direction and focus coming to my blog, and I wanted a new look and design that would reflect said direction and focus.
Also, a fair warning: As I figure out where I want to go and what I want to do, I realize that one of my goals is to monetize this blog, and part of that process is through working with brands. I’m looking for brands that are a good match for me, and my family – and that I can confidently share with you. I will do my best not to be annoying. In fact, one of the things I wanted to do with this redesign was set up my homepage so that you could easily see my most recent posts and read the ones you’re interested in and ignore the rest (rather than having to scroll down through my most recent post to see if I’ve had anything interesting to say that week…).
I know some of you are bloggers, and as I grow this little blog, I hope to share with you what’s working for me – and what’s not.
I’m super duper *extra* excited about where this is going and I hope, hope, HOPE that you will come along with me for this ride (and share…I love it when you share things I’ve done with your friends and family, that’s how I grow!).

Oh…and you might want to look into a spam filter plug-in–unless you know qghjkiuj? ; ) I’ve heard Akismet is good.
UGH UGH UGH UGH THE SPAM. I have Akismet. AAAGGHHH. One thing about Blogger…I didn’t have this! Any other ideas?
